It was warmer this morning than yesterday, a good six degrees warmer and I felt that difference. The windshield was not iced over.
It began drizzling at 6:30am and continued for a half hour. Now we have the ubiquitous grey winter skies.
Weather for Lubbock looks pleasant. I have a dental appointment Tuesday afternoon so the latest I will leave Lubbock is that morning at sunrise. That will (should!) give me enough time to read the historical markers along the way, especially the ones I missed driving up!

Monday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 20s.
Tuesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s.
